Get to know our dynamic HALL Structured Finance team through our “Meet the Team” series.

Meet Loan Officer Bryce Yamauchi. Bryce joined HALL Structured Finance (HSF) in 2021 and focuses on loan originations. Bryce is a graduate of the University of Hawaii and holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics.

1. What university did you attend and what was your major?

I majored in Mathematics and the University of Hawaii

2. What is your favorite movie or tv show?

Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Office

3. Do you have any pets? If so, what is their name and breed?

None currently, but first pet was a rabbit named Rabeet (original, I know)

4. What are your hobbies outside of work?

Working out, watching sports, reading, and traveling

5. What’s the best advice you’ve received?

“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take – Wayne Gretzky” – Michael Scott

6. Who inspires you or has been a mentor in your life?

Definitely, my parents

7. Tell us a surprising or fun fact about youself.

I love onions and I eat a lot of them!

8. What’s your favorite thing about Texas?

The weather (most days) and the access to opportunities

9. What is your favorite memory from working at HALL?

Friday happy hours, the people and camaraderie
